Arrive at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) and transfer to your hotel. The first day is reserved for acclimatization to Ladakh’s high altitude. In the evening, visit Leh Market, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace for an introduction to Ladakhi culture.

After breakfast, drive through Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Descend into Nubra Valley and visit Diskit Monastery, home to a majestic 108-ft Buddha statue. Enjoy an exciting double-humped camel ride in Hunder Sand Dunes.

Drive towards Turtuk, a remote village near the India-Pakistan border, once part of Baltistan. Explore its lush green landscapes, apricot orchards, and Balti culture, and interact with the friendly locals. Visit the Turtuk Monastery and museum to learn about its history. Return to Nubra Valley in the evening.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Pangong Lake (14,270 ft) via the Shyok River route. On arrival, admire the ever-changing hues of the lake, made famous by Bollywood’s 3 Idiots movie. Relax by the lake, take stunning photos, and enjoy the serene environment.

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, return to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). En route, visit Sindhu Ghat and the Druk White Lotus School (Rancho’s School from 3 Idiots). Spend the evening at leisure in Leh Market for shopping and café hopping.
